The Briar
Patch evolved from a piece of property in Sempronius, NY, with
extensive brush, briars and standing water. We started clearing in 1985 and
building our home in 1988.
Joanne started machine knitting in 1987 in Virginia and in 1989 a small gallery
was designed as her
Knitting shop at our home in Sempronius. The fall and winter of 1999/2000 saw
the addition of 300+ sq feet onto Joanne's small and very crowded shop. Joanne now has 2-15 needle
single head embroidery machines and upgraded commercial software.
